Turn-by-turn directions
The start is directly on the shore of the Alpsee, at the lakeside pier. For the run-in, the route first runs along the lakeside promenade on a gravel path for just under a kilometre before heading uphill to Zaumberg. From there we continue uphill on paths to the Siedelalpe and at the same time the highest point of the tour.
From there we have a beautiful postcard view of the Alpsee lake lying deep below.

Now we go downhill over alpine meadows to Trieblings. Via the Schönesreuth alpine pasture and the Hochreute estate, the route returns to the lakeside promenade.
The fast final stage goes back along the lakeshore to the lakeside pier, where the hard-working Alpseelauf volunteers are already waiting with coffee and homemade cakes.
