Die etwa fünfstündige Wanderung führt bei leichter Steigung hoch über den Großen Alpsee in Immenstadt im Allgäu. Vor allem bei gutem Wetter ist die Runde ein Genuss. Auf der Strecke lässt sich die Aussicht auf den größten Natursee im Allgäu stets genießen. Mehrere Aussichtspunkte mit Rastmöglichkeit laden zum Verweilen ein. In einer der urigen Hütten am Wegesrand lohnt sich eine Einkehr bei heimischen Spezialitäten. Gegen Ende der Tour führt uns der Weg direkt am Ufer des Großen Alpsee entlang.
