Winter sports enthusiasts will find over 20 kilometers of slopes of varying difficulty in the Steibis ski arena. Thanks to the altitude of up to 1500 m, the skiing area near Oberstaufen is particularly snow-sure. The modern snow-making facilities contribute to this. Skiing beginners can take part in a skiing course and the little guests are looked after in the “Skikinderland Imberg.”

The Steibis Skiarena at the Imbergbahn offers skiers and snowboarders manageable and varied slopes. Modern snow-making facilities ensure good slope conditions. There is a wide variety of leisure activities close-by suitable for relaxing Nordic winter sports. On well-groomed hiking trails, groomed cross-country ski trails, prepared skating tracks and fast-paced toboggan runs, everyone can get the most of their vacation. Inexpensive accommodation options are available either in Steibis itself or in the nearest, larger town of Oberstaufen.
Ski/Snowboard
The Steibis ski arena offers around 21 kilometers of varied slopes. Skiers and snowboarders as well as beginners and families with children will get their money's worth on the predominantly easy to intermediate slopes and downhill runs at the Imbergbahn. Ambitious skiers, off-piste skiers and freeriders are recommended to make a detour to the Fluh slope, which is quite a challenge with a 200 m difference in altitude. The fun park gets your adrenalin pumping. The Skiarena Steibis has several sun terraces with great views, which are worth a stop or two.Nordic/Winter hiking
The Skiarena Steibis offers plenty of opportunities to go on extensive winter hikes. The modern gondola lift of the Imbergbahn transports winter hikers who want to go a little higher up to the sun terrace of the Imberghaus. From there, they can set off on the designated and panoramic winter hiking trails. Cross-country and skating enthusiasts, on the other hand, head for Oberstaufen, where the DSV nordic active center's network of cross-country and skating trails, which is more than 100 km large, invites them to enjoy varied rounds on cross-country or skating skis. Sledders and toboggan fans are also very welcome in the Skiarena Steibis. Every Saturday from 6 pm, it's even possible to race down into the valley on the floodlit toboggan run.Public transport
