1,565 m high peak in the Allgäu Alps
The Hochhäderich (also Hoher Häderich) is the westernmost peak of the Nagelfluhkette in the Upper Allgäu. The border to the Bregenz Forest in Austria runs over its 1,565 m high summit. The Hochhäderich is a popular mountain among hikers and mountaineers who tackle the tour over the Nagelfluhkette. A little below the summit is the mountain inn of the same name, a nice place to stop for refreshments.
