The Hochgrat mountain railway connects the Oberstaufen hamlet of Lanzenbach with the ridge below the Hochgrat summit.
In summer, it opens up an extensive hiking area, in winter it is the starting point for deep-snow skiers, freeriders, snowshoe hikers and tobogganers. There is a panorama restaurant at the top station. In summer, there are regular adventure rides, for example at sunrise or sunset as well as at full moon.
