Located at the heart of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and surrounded by stunning forests and woodlands, our family-run hotel with 26 rooms and a total of 58 beds is the ideal getaway!

Come and enjoy nature at its best on a long stroll through the national park or discover the beautiful settings of the Dream Loop circular hiking routes, some of which are located nearby. Visit the local town of Idar-Oberstein (20 km), known for its gemstones, or admire the Moselle river and pretty waterside towns such as Bernkastel-Kues (30 km). If you want to venture further afield, the historic city of Trier (48 km) is the perfect destination for a great day out.

After making the most of all there is to see and explore, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a tasty tipple in our beer garden or discover the wide range of activities and facilities available at our Waldgasthaus!

Say hello to our new leisure areas:

  • Outdoor playground with a slide, sandpit, swings and climbing tower
  • Indoor playroom with a ballpit, different themed play areas, a small climbing tower and much more
  • Modern, cosy music and chill-out lounge with a pool table (additional fee applies)
  • Separate games room with board games and an electronic dartboard (additional fee applies)
  • Table football (additional fee applies)
  • Air hockey table (additional fee applies)

As soon as regulations allow, we will also re-open our spa area with a steam room, sauna, swimming pool and garden area all in a Roman-inspired design – the perfect place to relax and unwind.

There are plenty of highlights for you to enjoy, all with the aim of ensuring that you have a wonderful stay!
